Our Head Chef and Director of Catering, Darren Frankling, has received many accolades for his specialty dishes made using only the freshest local ingredients. 

After completing his apprenticeship at the Clansman Restaurant in Brisbane, Darren worked as head chef in a variety of ski resorts and hotels across Canada before returning to Australia to become head chef at Kawana Hotel and SeaFM Superchef.

Over the years he has tantalised the taste buds and filled the bellies of many a bride and groom, as well as a celebrity or two, including John Farnham and Peter Beattie In addition Darren is the preferred chef for various high profile Sunshine Coast corporate clients, including Australia Zoo.

In addition to his popular cockail, buffet and formal/a la carte menus, Darren can prepare platters, chocolate fountains and bridal party hampers (e.g. nibbles & drinks whilst you are getting ready or having your photos taken) and can tailor menus for any theme, budget or occasion including:
